What we groom in the South
More outdoor and garden dogs than in Beirut, and more guard breeds — German Shepherds, Malinois, mixed-breed farm dogs. That means heavier coats, real tick and flea pressure in summer, and a lot of first-time grooms on dogs who have never seen clippers.
We plan for it. A first appointment on an un-groomed adult dog is slower, and we'd rather do a shorter, calmer session and come back than force a full groom through on day one.
Tick and flea checks
Every brush-out in the South includes a proper check through the coat, behind the ears and between the pads. If we find fleas we'll tell you before we start — a flea groom needs a medicated bath and a full sanitisation of the van afterwards, which is [PRICE].
